Our Hope List
God’s Word teaches us (I Corinthians 13) about “Faith, Hope, and Love”. “Faith and Love” get a lot of attention. “Hope” sometimes is overlooked. Obviously, “Faith” and “Love” would never get off the ground if we didn’t have our “Hopes” to get them started. We might have faith in God, but only for the things we first hoped for. We might give and receive love, but only in the direction of our hopes. It all starts with our God-given hopes…
BCBA’s Current Hope List
- PRAYER: Our number one hope is that our supporting church members will pray for this ministry as a whole, the BCBA Campers, Staff, Volunteers, Donors, Worship Leaders, Preachers and Teachers here. If God is the real worker, then prayer is the real work.
- CAMPERS: We are hoping for more and more campers to come to BCBA and get direction and guidance from the Lord Jesus.
- STAFF: We’ve recently lost 4 of our “full-time” staff. Not just anybody can do this kind of work. We are hoping for the right Godly people to be led our way.
- VOLUNTEERS: If you love the Lord Jesus and want to serve Him in a safe, Godly environment, God may be calling you to become a member of our camp “family”. Each day we begin with a devotion and prayer requests, loving each other intentionally as we love our campers the same way. You know how to do that since “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
- “MISSION BIG COUNTRY” VOLUNTEERS: Come on our and stay with us for a Friday evening and Saturday for free. You’ll get 3 meals and an overnight stay in exchange for 8 hours of volunteer help around the camp.
- DONORS: All undesignated donations are placed towards BCBA’s “The Master’s Plan”, Phase Three. This is our new indoor swimming pool and Bunkhouse Village. It’s estimated to cost is approx. $750,000. Phase One is complete (Pond, Tabernacle). Phase Two is already funded (Gymnasium Renovation and a 120’ x 80’ Covered Recreation Pavilion). Construction is underway now. More donors are needed for Phase Three.
